| Laborers protest at Macy's

Laborers Local 42 last week set up an area-standards picket at the old Macy’s warehouse on Market Street near South Vandeventer Avenue. The union protested that employees of a non-union contractor, SET Environmental, were being paid substandard wages and benefits while removing asbestos from the building.
